Veronica Milroy
soprano
Soprano, pianist & chamber musician, Veronica was raised in regional NSW and was the holder of the Lithgow City Council Music Scholarship (2008 & 2010) and the Mitchell Conservatorium Scholarship (2004 - 2007, 2009). In 2014, she graduated from the Australian National University, where she studied a Bachelor of Music (Performance - Classical Voice) under the tutelage of Alan Hicks & Louise Page OAM.
An experienced consort singer, Veronica was a founding member of Luminescence Chamber Singers, and has performed with Cantillation, The Song Company, and the Choir of St James’ King Street. Her clear, crystalline sound has rung out around the world from the sails of the Sydney Opera House to under the dome of St. Paul’s Cathedral, London. In 2022 she embarked on a new venture, performing as a duo with harpist Rowan Phemister.
Veronica has worked as a singing tutor, accompanist and director with many organisations across Canberra & Central Western NSW, as well as the Rhapsody Rotorua Festival (New Zealand). In addition to her busy schedule as a singer, Veronica is currently the pianist of the Luminescence Children’s Choir.
