Singing is powerful. Our voices were our first instruments, and have a unique capacity to tell stories. Singing goes hand in hand with making meaning, and whether the music soothes us or challenges us, something special happens when singers come together.

That’s why Luminescence exists, both as the Luminescence Chamber Singers - a professional ensemble, and as the Luminescence Children’s Choir  - a premier program for singers aged 10 – 17.
 
Luminescence has grown significantly during recent years, despite the challenges of Covid-19 and the absence of any ongoing government support. To sustain and build Luminescence, we need your help.  We want to bring you even more music - both the brand new, and the very old. We want to expand our touring programs, commission new works, undertake bold projects, and provide formative experiences for young singers. We want to ensure that our artistic staff and singers have the financial support they need to deliver you great singing.
 
Everything we do depends on the generous support of donors who share our vision and our ambition, and we need your help to grow. We have set a target of $15,000 for our 2022 Annual Appeal. By giving to Luminescence, you invest in our vision, our singers, and our artistic programs.
